Summer Adventure in Iceland

  In June, science teacher Beth Roop and two of her students,  recent graduates Mika Gallegos and Frida Sigalo, spent 10 days in Iceland on a scientific exploration of Iceland.  They hiked glaciers, took ice-core samples, and put on "dry" suits to dive in the Atlantic Rift.  Here they are taking a  medicinal mud bath in Iceland's famed hot springs the Blue Lagoon.
